It is my profound privilege and purpose in life to help alleviate unnecessary suffering and help people find authentic happiness.

I am a student of human behavior.

I have spent thousands of hours counseling individuals, couples, and families over the past 14 years. I dedicated the first half of my counseling career to serving in community mental health clinics where I worked alongside the marginalized and severely mentally ill. In other words, I have seen it all.

I have witnessed the dark recesses of the human mind -- too dark for most of us to think about -- as well as the beautiful moments of overcoming extreme challenges and seeing authentic change and growth.

All of us are on a journey of healing and growth. One of those sentinel healing events occurred in my life with a big shift in my career. I attended the University of Southern Mississippi where I received a bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance. At 26 years old I wasn't living up to my potential as an accountant and I wasn't happy. After a year of soul searching I decided to leave accounting for a career in psychology. Graduating with honors from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology was the beginning of this new journey for me.

I have been trained in the use of the ENNEAGRAM personality assessment and find it extremely helpful when working with clients. I am a TYPE EIGHT. Find out more about the Enneagram and take a free test HERE.

My Myers-Briggs is INFJ.

I also make art from found objects. Read more about my art HERE.
