But let's face it, anxiety feels bad and no one wants to feel bad. It is natural to want to get rid of whatever is making you feel bad. But what if your anxiety was not a mental illness? What if it is a part of your genetic makeup that you can't change any more than you can change the color of your eyes? Anxiety has many sources including heredity, attachment style and stressful life problems. I have seen how people suffering from anxiety attacks try and change what is unchangeable and end up feeling frustrated and hopeless. Let me assure you there is hope. |
