REB BUXTON, M.A., O.S.B.

Reb has spent 23 years helping people do hard things like telling the truth about themselves and their relationships, and then doing something about it.

Reb works with couples in crisis and with individuals who sense there is more to their lives than what they are currently living. Reb's approach is direct, soulful, and grounded in the belief that real change requires honesty, courage, and a willingness to face what you've been avoiding.

Reb received his Master of Arts in Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology in 2001, where he was trained at the intersection of psychological depth and spiritual formation. That integration has shaped everything about how he works.

Reb is also an Oblate of St. Benedict — O.S.B. — a formal commitment to the Benedictine way of life, made through St. Meinrad Archabbey in February 2026. The Rule of Benedict is fundamentally about how to live with intention, honesty, and presence . . . so is good therapy.

Before entering the mental health field Reb spent years working in accounting and finance. He started his private practice in 2011 and has worked with clients all over the world ever since.

Reb has written four books — The Hard Work of Happiness, Listen, and Supernatural, Couples in Crisis: Help for Love at the Breaking Point.
