I've spent 23 years helping people do the hardest thing there is — tell the truth about themselves and their relationships, and then do something about it.
I work with couples in crisis and with individuals — particularly men — who sense there is more to their lives than what they're currently living. My approach is direct, soulful, and grounded in the belief that real change requires honesty, courage, and a willingness to face what you've been avoiding.
I hold a Master of Arts in Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology, where I was trained at the intersection of psychological depth and spiritual formation. That integration has shaped everything about how I work.
I am also an Oblate of St. Benedict — O.S.B. — a formal commitment to the Benedictine way of life, made through St. Meinrad Archabbey in February 2026. The Rule of Benedict is fundamentally about how to live with intention, honesty, and presence. So is good therapy.
Before entering the mental health field I spent years working in accounting and finance. I started my private practice in 2011 and have worked with clients all over the world ever since.
I have written three books — The Hard Work of Happiness, Listen, and Supernatural— and my fourth, Couples in Crisis: A Training Manual for Love at the Breaking Point, is forthcoming.
All sessions are virtual. I work with individuals and couples worldwide.
RECOMMENDATIONS
“Reb is amazing . . . he helped me to develop a simple but effective plan that has changed EVERYTHING. I would like to endorse Reb to especially any men who are feeling like there is "more" to life, and you just can't quite grasp how to get there. If that is you, contact him immediately. My only regret is that I waited for a crisis to make the call.”
“I have worked with Reb both professionally and personally. He is the real deal.”
“Reb enabled me to find hope and happiness after experiencing debilitating trauma. He is wise, compassionate, patient and truly gifted. I strongly recommend Reb. One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is the gift of stepping outside of your stressful life for an hour where you are free to express yourself in a nonjudgmental space.”
“Reb packs a lot of productivity in his sessions. I always leave with something valuable and applicable.”
“Reb continues to make a big impact on how I am handling life, setbacks and relationships with my family. I could not be more blessed to have him as a support person in my life.”
